ANC believes there is nothing worse than a white Afrikaans man: Corné Mulder

Corné Mulder, leader of the Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus), said that, according to the ANC’s approach, there is nothing worse than a white Afrikaans man.

Mulder shared his views on the South African political landscape and the current ANC policies during a discussion with Izak du Plessis on Nuuspod.

He said that Afrikaners are forgotten when it comes to the future and prosperity of South Africa, despite their tremendous contribution.

“According to the ANC’s approach, there is nothing worse than a white Afrikaans-speaking man,” Mulder said.

“White Afrikaner men are ranked stone last. There is nothing for us to contribute. We mean nothing to the ANC.”

However, Mulder argued that this group made a tremendous contribution to South Africa’s development and progress.

He said that white Afrikaners have been a minority in South Africa since 1652, when Jan van Riebeeck arrived in the Cape.

Despite being a small group, white Afrikaners are unique and have contributed significantly to the country’s development.

Mulder argued that white Afrikaners have for long enough, more than 30 years, left the ANC to try its thing. “We were forced into it,” he said.

“The time has come that we stand up and say: We have a contribution to make. We do not have to be sidelined,” he said.

“Where we take the lead, whether it is at a boardroom table or at a music festival, things get done. We make decisions and execute them.”

“We are not like the ANC. They are good at meetings, they can talk for hours, but believe me, absolutely nothing happens after that.”

Mulder also criticised the ANC’s handling of the government of national unity (GNU), which he said does not provide a true platform for collaboration.

“The ANC simply claimed and retained sole say over the economy. That is why we still sit with failed economic policies of BEE and affirmative action,” he said.

He said that these race-based policies, which discriminate against white people, restrict economic growth and increase unemployment.

“The ANC also claimed South Africa’s international policy and international relations. This is why we are aligned with rogue nations,” he said.
