Seth Thorne

Seth Thorne, born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, is an investigative and multimedia journalist at Newsday. He holds a BA (Hons) in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he received the Patrick Laurence Student Journalist of the Year prize and the Anthony Sampson In-depth Reporting prize.

Daniel Puchert

Daniel Puchert is a journalist at Newsday and focuses on breaking news, economics, politics, data journalism, and features. He holds a BA degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Stellenbosch University.

Kimberley Kersten

Kimberley Kersten is a journalist at Newsday and focuses on breaking news, multimedia, politics, and features. She worked as a journalist at Now Media for two years before joining Newsday. She holds a BA in English Literature and a Postgraduate Degree in Journalism from the University of the Witwatersrand.
