MultiChoice to delist from the JSE, and Mashatile dodges questions about Louis Liebenberg links

Today, 9 December, the African National Congress (ANC) will continue with the second day of its National General Council in Boksburg.

Today’s programme will include commissions discussing the state of the National Democratic Revolution (NDR) and the balance of forces.

The Democratic Alliance will hold a press conference today, where it will release its “Nelson Mandela Bay Report Card”, giving an overview of the service delivery during the “destructive tenure of the ANC/EFF coalition”, according to the party.

Meanwhile, the National Consumer Commission has announced the recall of Kia and Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These vehicles were sold nationally between 2009 and 2015.

According to the NCC, the dust inside the clockspring could compromise airbag circuits, causing illumination of the airbag warning light or a non-deployment of the airbag during a crash.

Effective yesterday, the Department of Home Affairs has extended its office working hours for the festive season.

Until December 19, the extended hours will assist in helping citizens and visitors with document applications and collections for holiday travel.
