ANC Minister says white men want to keep qualified black people out of business
ANC NEC member and Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, said that white men want to keep qualified black people out of running and managing the economy.
Ntshavheni made these statements during an engagement with first-time voters ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.
She said that the ANC played a historic role in advancing freedom, democracy and transformation in South Africa.
She then explained that young voters must make informed choices, as voting for another party may lead to racial discrimination against them.
“The reason you are here is because of the ANC,” she told a young student. “We keep working to ensure that everyone has access to education.”
She said that in the past, brilliant young black people who matriculated had to ask a Minister for permission to study medicine.
“Back then, even if you were brilliant and had just matriculated, you couldn’t just apply to a university. You had to apply to a minister to be given permission to study,” she said.
She argued that parties like the Democratic Alliance (DA) opposed black economic empowerment (BEE) policies as they want to benefit white people.
“There are parties in this country that say you must stop black empowerment policies. Do you know why? Because they want to keep white people on top,” she said.
“When I say this, I mean that companies and businesses everywhere must represent the demographics of the country.”
She said that if an area is predominantly black, you must have black people in leadership positions.
“You cannot simply find a white man who, after graduating with a diploma and completing an advanced course, ends up managing you,” she said.
“If you go to the majority of workplaces, especially in the private sector, you will find a white guy there.”
“After you qualify, you will find a white guy there managing you which has a matric. Sometimes, he does not even have a matric.”
“They say he has work experience. It is really because they want to close you out from running and managing the economy.”

No minister of racial hate white men and so do all hardworking taxpayers citizens want all capable, honest and suitable qualified people of all races to be employed and opening businesses.
That creates work , broadens the taxpayers .
Yet you and the incompetent and corrupt in your party are making laws that prohibits growth in the economy and investment .
You are telling lies blaming white men for your wastefull , deliberate incompetence and Marxist ideas to steal and defraud the country .
And you only got that mismanaged ministerial post as due to your women’s league … and not competence and integrity .
