Afrikaner leaders meet with the U.S. Ambassador to South Africa

Afrikaner leaders from the Solidarity Movement, AfriForum, Solidarity, SAAI, NEASA, and Freedom Front Plus met with the U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, L. Brent Bozell III.

Bozell is a well-known American conservative lecturer, syndicated columnist, television commentator, businessman, author, and activist.

He was confirmed as Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa on 18 December 2025 and officially began his duties on 23 February 2026.

Over the last four months, he has met many stakeholders to build relationships and try to create a stronger bond between the United States and South Africa.

In May 2026, he met with Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Parks Tau, to discuss the U.S.-SA economic and trade relationship.

“From AI to critical minerals, United States commercial leadership can be a major driver of growth and job creation in South Africa,” he said.

In June 2026, he met with Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Solly Malatsi, which Bozell said was productive.

“I shared views on Telecom EEIP, AI, and cybersecurity issues of mutual benefit to both South Africa and the United States,” he said.

He also met with activist Albie Sachs to learn about South Africa’s history from someone who has shaped it.

This week, Bozell met with Afrikaner leaders from the Solidarity Movement, AfriForum, Solidarity, SAAI, NEASA, and Freedom Front Plus.

“We discussed how the U.S. government’s focus on the community can contribute to a safer and more prosperous South Africa,” he said.

The U.S. Ambassador to South Africa has a strong focus on mending the strained relationship between the two countries and improving trade.

During the local celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary, he said they also celebrated the cooperation that will build a more prosperous and secure future.

I hope that the greater Solidarity movement, impressed on Ambassador Bozell that we want an independent WC. The ideological gap between the rest of SA as ruled over by the anc, the DA being largely ignored, and the WC, is many million miles removed from each other. Instead of allowing the anc national government to interfere in the WC, let us just remove them from our borders. We have not voted for the anc since 2009. There is a reason for that.
