`Today, 23 February, the rand is trading at R16.03 to the dollar, down from R16.17 on Friday’ I disagree with this statement. Mind you the currency was weaker on Friday, trading at R16.17. Today, 23 February, it is stronger, trading at R16.03. The statement shoud therefore read as thus, `Today, 23 February, the rand is trading at R16.03 to the dollar, stronger from R16.17 on Friday’
