ANC getting sued for ‘crimes against humanity’
The Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance is preparing legal documents to sue the ANC for “destroying South Africa through corruption, mismanagement, and self-enrichment.”
Errol Naidoo, a director of the alliance, shared their plans in a discussion with Rob Hersov during a Truth Report podcast.
Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance was founded to bring public officials implicated in corruption to justice.
“Their crimes against the people of South Africa, past and present, will no longer be tolerated,” the organisation said.
Its board of directors includes legal experts, including Professor Andries Raath, Advocate Ig Bredenkamp, and Advocate Steven Davies.
There are also two Senior Counsels (Silks) on the Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance board, Advocate Roelof Du Plessis and Advocate Reg Willis.
As such, Naidoo said the organisation is well-positioned to engage in litigation against an organisation such as the ANC.
Naidoo said that they are representing the people of South Africa who are getting a very bad deal from the government.
“We are taking the ANC to court and holding them accountable for crimes against humanity,” he said.
He explained that they may use the High Court in South Africa or the International Court of Justice, depending on how the case develops.
One of the first focus areas is violations of children’s constitutional rights in South Africa. “Many children are dying of hunger,” he said.
He claimed that there “are an estimated 10 million children in South Africa suffering from malnutrition to the extent that their growth is stunted.”
According to data from 2024 and 2025, including reports from the Human Sciences Research Council and the University of Cape Town’s Children’s Institute, stunting affects approximately 27% to 28.8% of children.
If one were to apply that percentage to the entire child population (under 18), the number would reach about 6 million.
He said the reason for this situation is massive corruption. “We are governed by an organised crime network called the ANC,” Naidoo said.
“Their primary focus appears to be remaining in power to steal South Africa’s resources to enrich a handful of people.”
Handling the issue on a case-by-case basis

Naidoo said that the Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance will address the ANC’s actions on a case-by-case basis.
He said the legal action against the ANC is led by an experienced team of legal professionals, many of whom volunteer their time.
“The children’s rights case will be led by a senior counsel with a team of lawyers to support him,” Naidoo explained.
The children’s rights case will focus on the fact that many children in South Africa are dying and are deprived of decent education.
“The reason for this situation is corruption and mismanagement. This does not need to happen,” he explained.
“Although the country has talented and skilled people, the ANC is placing its cadres in positions of power to make money.”
He explained that South Africans are suffering because of the ANC, which is not doing the best for the country.
“As a result of the governing failures of the ANC government over the past 31 years, children in South Africa have been denied their constitutional rights,” he said.
He said the rampant corruption, tender fraud, theft, and gross mismanagement of state resources have characterised ANC governance.
“It has directly contributed to millions of vulnerable children being denied their constitutional rights, dignity, and future aspirations,” he said.
