This comes after NERSA recently announced that Eskom had been granted permission to increase electricity prices. The planned increase of 5% to 6% over the next two years has been hiked to 9%.

In the Western Cape, Premier Alan Winde will deliver the 2026 State of the Province Address today. He is expected to outline goals and priorities for the province for the next several years.

After standing in a queue to collect an overdue parcel at SAPO in CT – there was a payment to be made. Then told one has to pay with a physical card – cannot pay from phone on credit card machine. No ATM for miles so home to try again the next day. Natural selection will take its course and this anachronistic dilapidated institution will wither and die. Rest in Pieces I say…
